Raised in the Hudson Valley, I know all the sweet spots to hang out at. The reason I stay in the area is because everything is within an 1.5hr from what you want. NYC, Albany, Catskills, Farm land, Hunting, suburbs, ect. I am a big outdoors guy, hiking, camping and kayaking are my go to weekend adventures. Being a traveler I disagree with the social norm of vacationing only 2 weeks out of the year. I love Europe and Japan history so those are my go to vacation spots.
